When I was 9-10 years old, my family and I visited many places near Puerto Varas during our vacation, such as Ensenada, a village called Las cascadas and many others but the one that caught my attention was Saltos de Petrohué.
What I remember is that
it had waterfalls surrounded of many green areas, and the river that runs there
it had very clear water. Also, you could see the volcano Osorno perfectly. So, the
view was quite unique and captivating.
We walked around the place and took many
pictures while having a good time and breathing fresh air, something that you can’t
do in Santiago.
This place is very
popular, I remember seeing a lot of foreign tourists spending their time there.
So, I totally recommend visit Saltos de Petrohué, especially If you are
interested in having a relaxing time while looking around a beautiful view, and
the best thing is that the entrance ticket is not that expensive, so it’s quite
accessible for everyone.
